General Information
Please read this information prior to completing either the online registration. We also have a hard copy (PDF) if you prefer you can download it here, OTC Convention Entry.

• To register as an individual, the participant must be the only student from their studio attending the convention.
• Registrations are accepted on a first come basis and only guaranteed once form & payment have been received.
• Registration confirmations will be sent upon receipt.
• Prices are in Canadian dollars and include applicable taxes. Refunds will not be granted.
• A $40.00 service charge will be applied to NSF cheques.

Categories
Both age & years of training should be used to determine level placement. Categories listed below are recommendations only. Teachers should use their discretion when determining the appropriate category for each student so they are placed in the level that will challenge them the most. We reserves the right to change a participant’s placement if deemed necessary.

• Petite: Ages 8 & under
• Junior: Ages 9 & up
• Teen: Ages 12 & up
• Senior: Ages 15 & up
• Teacher:  Studio Owners/Directors & Teachers. Teachers may videotape performance during the OTC Showcase.
• Observer: Family members/guardians of convention participants only – Teachers may register as observers.

 
Rates
Rates may vary from workshop-to-workshop as a result of travel and venue costs. We'll make every attempt to keep them the same. They will be posted on each event page.
Schedule Overview
The workshops will consist of various disciplines, including a Q&A with the instructors and opportunity to take photographs and Showcase at the completion of the weekend. The schedule for both days will be updated once the instructors are finalized. This is a sample schedule:

1. Saturday - Registration: 8:00AM – 8:30AM
2. Saturday Classes: 9:00AM - 8:00PMThere will be breaks between classes and a lunch break.
3. Sunday Classes 8:00AM - 6:00PM
4. Sunday Showcase & Awards - 7:00PM

The showcase will be an opportunity for participants to perform your routines.
Special Notes
The order of the workshops will be provided at the event. Please bring all your appropriate footwear. Please come ready to dance.
Video of the classes is strictly prohibited, although you are welcome to video the showcase.
Remember to bring your camera if you want to take pictures with your instructors at the OTC Showcase.
Workshop fees are non-refundable but are transferable if the participant or Studio wish to apply it to another workshop. OTC Dance will provide a credit to the Studio for medical reasons with an accompanying letter listing the competitor's entires. A medical certificate or doctor's note must also be provided. Credit notes are valid for one year and can be used by the studio for future workshops or merchandise. With no exceptions, there are no refunds for registrations that fail to show or participate in whole or in part of classes at a workshop.
